The Biotin-Tag Capture Sensor is based on a carboxymethylated dextran sensor with pre-immobilized Neutravidin on the surface and suitable to capture biotinylated ligands, mainly peptides, proteins, and DNA. The interaction of biotin with Neutravidin is very strong, therefore this sensor type has a high affinity and binding capacity and works for a broad range of applications. It could be an alternative for ligands that are difficult to immobilize covalently.
